NADA, NEW YORK: Booth 4.05

14 - 17 May 2015

The 21st century human condition is visualised by assemblages of collected tools of trade satisfying basic human needs and referring to memory and ideological symbols. The artist’s Neo Dadaist and Constructivist references create direct physical arrangements constituting her visual language. The formal quality of her wall sculptures is strongly present. The artworks are rich in textures, layers, colour compositions and art historical references.

The dialogue between the viewer and the work is swift and immediately represents the various battlefields mankind is confronted with. The collected objects are wheels, batons, shoe forms, sticks, weapons and other tools of trade expressing workers soliloquy, those tools are all to satisfy basic human needs such as shelter, safety, food and clothing.
